“Praiz Unplugged,” an initiative by Sunny TV and Sunny 88.7FM, is the ultimate gospel music competition with a purpose. I have long awaited a moment like this where a competition is held for both traditional and contemporary Christian musicians.
Watching these incredible singers compete each week has been a delightful experience. Every year, when the Holy Spirit impresses on my heart to invest in others, particularly young and upcoming musicians, I witness extraordinary growth and transformation.
These past weeks have been no exception. The judges (Perez Musik, HJ, and I) have observed remarkable improvements in these contestants’ craft.
The Lord is calling us, especially in these times, to raise an army for Him in all spheres of life. We are called to possess the nations and impact our world. Over the years, a few have sought my mentorship, recognizing our efforts and aspiring to become true agents of change.
Until we are ready to stand for our beliefs, we may never see or experience the change we desire. This weekend’s edition of “Praise Reloaded,” organized by Joe Mettle, is proof that as a people – we yearn for more.
Indeed, the Lord can transform lives, families, communities, and nations, uniting churches and church leaders through the Gospel and gospel music.
